San Francisco to New York...the long way.

Next stop: Phu Quoc - an amazing little island off the southern end of Vietnam.  We absolutely loved the beaches, the food, and the views.  Along the way we met a great couple, also travelling from San Francisco, but originally from Vietnam.  Jane and Lee (probably in their mid-50’s) showed us the ropes as far as Vietnamese food is concerned - at dinner they took over as mother and father, ordering amazing dishes and serving fresh fish from hot pots to us and another pair of travellers from the UK.  We were so excited about the opportunity to have an impromptu family dinner in Vietnam!
